Electrical Department Team Lead / Maintenance Supervisor
Brampton, ON | $45–$55/hr + OT + Benefits | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Permanent

The Role
  • Lead the Electrical Department and supervise electricians/apprentices
  • 80% hands-on electrical work on the production floor
  • Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, automation and controls issues
  • Program and modify PLCs, HMIs and VFDs
  • Support equipment installation and commissioning
  • Drive machine reliability, downtime reduction and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and train junior electricians
  • Coordinate outside electrical contractors when required
  • Maintain electrical documentation and ESA/code compliance
Requirements
  • 442A Industrial Electrician License
  • 10+ years industrial electrical experience
  • 2+ years electrical team leadership/supervision in manufacturing
  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Allen-Bradley/Rockwell experience
  • Siemens experience is an asset
  • HMI, VFD, automation and industrial controls experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical or robotics experience is an asset
