Position Summary

Join the Bearcat Dining marketing team as a Photography Intern and help capture the energy of campus dining! In this role, you'll document events, food, and everyday student experiences through compelling photography and visual storytelling.

You'll play a key role in shaping how students see and experience dining, through photos used across social media, marketing campaigns, and campus promotions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos of dining events, food, and student experiences
  • Edit and deliver photo content for social media, digital screens, and marketing materials
  • Support content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Assist with event coverage and visual storytelling
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and creative direction
  • Help maintain a consistent visual brand style across platforms

Work Details

Learning Objectives

  • Improve proficiency in using professional photography equipment (DSLR camera, etc.) and editing platforms (Adobe suite, etc.) to produce high-quality images for public viewing. 
  • Learn to shoot according to brand standards. 
  • Learn to apply marketing principles such as brand identity, campaign strategy, and visual storytelling to photography projects. 
  • Build professional collaboration skills by participating in marketing meetings, contributing campaign ideas, and meeting project deadlines. 

This is a paid intern position; however, it is not eligible for paid time off (PTO) or benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
