Job Description

Company blends liquid feed ingredients for better animal performance, for healthier animals and ultimately for a safer food supply. The Liquid Feed Ingredient Sales Account Manager can be located near company headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa or anywhere in the Midwest territory. 

Duties:

* Help figure out the best pricing to deliver the greatest value to customers

* Identify potential new markets, market segments, territories or opportunities

* Participate in continuing education and trading by attending trade shows and serving on various industry-related committees or professional organizations

* Maintain customer and supplier records using various automated systems

* Execute the customer/supplier relationship management process

* Coordinate service of feed mill systems

* Perform research and identify customers/prospects and consult with customer/prospects regarding product and service needs

* Emphasize product and service features based on analysis of customer's needs, and on technical knowledge of product and service capabilities to solve the needs of customers

* Act as representative of the entire organization in the marketplace


Bottom Line Requirements:

1. Background in animal science or sales of feed ingredients.

2. Relationships with Midwest poultry and swine nutritionists as well as livestock, poultry, and feed mill buyers.
