Food Demonstrators primarily focus on showcasing food products through in-store demonstrations and sampling, aiming to engage customers and promote products. Food Sales Associates, on the other hand, typically handle sales transactions, assist customers with product selection, and may have a broader retail role. While both roles work in retail food environments, Food Demonstrators specialize in product presentation and sampling, whereas Food Sales Associates focus on sales and customer service.
As a food demonstrator, you showcase products to shoppers at a table or booth. A food demonstrator often works in grocery stores, answering customer questions, handing out food samples, and providing live demos of products. Your responsibilities include preparing food samples for people, promoting sales of a product or service, and sometimes distributing materials out to shoppers. Other duties include food preparation and sanitation, providing product coupons, training new demonstrators, and learning skills on the job. Usually, one of the qualifications for demonstrator roles is a high school diploma or GED certificate, but customer service or sales experience is helpful as well.

Event specialist position
We are seeking outgoing, enthusiastic, customer-service oriented people to perform food and beverage sampling demonstrations inside of elite local retail grocery stores as Food Demonstrators/Sales Advisors. We are looking for people who are passionate about creating a positive and exciting experience for consumers.
