Position Summary

The Food Cost Analyst plays a critical role in implementing Rosnet's Food Cost Management module for new clients and maintaining and supporting its functionality for existing clients. This role combines strong analytical ability with hands-on client support — breaking down complex reporting, troubleshooting issues, and training and supporting clients to use the module effectively and independently. The Food Cost Analyst brings professionalism, a strong work ethic, proven customer service skills, and a team-oriented approach to every client’s interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Food Management (FM) support to clients via ticketing and phone systems, including participation in an after-hours "on-call" rotation for Level 3 support.
  • Provide support and training for clients, to enable them to be self-sufficient in using the Food Cost Management module, ensuring they understand solutions beyond the immediate issue.
  • The ability to break down and explain complex reporting to clients in a clear and effective manner.
  • Analyze complex challenges to identify durable, long-term solutions, rather than short-term fixes, that consistently drive the highest levels of client satisfaction.
  • Complete a high volume of tasks associated with module maintenance for clients accurately, efficiently, and within scheduled deadlines.
  • Take part in the implementation of the Food Cost Management module for new clients, completing assigned projects within deadlines and to the client's satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field encouraged

Experience:

  • 2+ years food service industry experience and knowledge
  • Restaurant Technology Experience is a plus
  • Customer Service Experience is a plus

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, phone, and ticketing systems for extended periods.

  • Participates in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule for Level 3 support, which may require availability outside standard business hours.
  • The schedule is Sunday through Thursday,8am through 5pm.
