Job Description

Lead a team responsible for the development and production of branded projects for multiple accounts and change the way brand messaging is delivered to consumers to meet and exceed client business objectives. Drive content expertise and work closely within a team dedicated to specific product categories.

The role requires a person who is passionate about media, content, creative, production, and the details that go into taking a program concept from ideation to implementation. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Entertainment Marketing: From Concept to Execution

  • Develop targeted marketing programs to deliver clients' goals and objectives which includes: responding to client requests for proposals, providing idea generation, recommending appropriate marketing programs, partners and media outlets, securing client approval, negotiating deals, and formulating appropriate budgets and timelines
  • Interface with the marketplace to build partnerships and relationships with key content developers, publishers, and vendors
  • Oversee a team, providing guidance and support to foster growth and creative thinking

Trend-spotting & Creative Thinking

  • Identify consumer trends and think originally about client's industry in conjunction with client's brands
  • Understand consumer trends relevant to specific brand categories (e.g. food trends)
  • Maintain knowledge of industry news and developments, conduct brainstorms for a variety of brand teams, and apply entertainment solutions to marketing needs

Team Player

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of individuals, client accounts, vendors/partners and liaise between buying, planning, and the creative community
  • Guide programs through legal process and ensure all deliverables meet agency and client legal requirements
  • Oversee a variety of projects simultaneously and be a supportive player on other teams' projects
  • Develop ownership of an assigned client category; understand brand goals, create a development plan and provide updates to manager, clients, and peers
  • Supervise producers in delivery of status reports, timelines, budgets, meeting summaries, and case studies
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years of digital, activation, and production experience within an advertising agency, production company, promotional agency, network or digital company; established contacts/relationships within said marketing communities is ideal
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience writing presentations, creative briefs, summaries of industry news and/or POVs
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Superb presentation abilities
  • Awareness of consumer trends and insights
  • Knowledge of overall brand positioning
  • Superior organizational skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams, and oversee execution of numerous projects simultaneously
  • Exposure to working with creative teams and senior management
  • Strong client relationship skills and ability to strategically think from a client's perspective
  • Ability to think conceptually and to translate those concepts into actionable plans to drive clients' businesses forward
  • Entrepreneurial approach to finding and securing new opportunities
  • Proven experience in construction of marketing programs and exposure to contract negotiations (for marketing programs)

 Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $129,987.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
