Job description

Performance Marketing & Brand Content Manager

Curry Up Now is seeking a Performance Marketing & Brand Content Manager to run point on our daily digital storytelling, promotions, and customer engagement. You're part creative director, part strategist, part get-sh*t-done executor. This role is all about building sales momentum for the brand, keeping us top of mind and on trend.

This role is about brand vibes but it's more about driving sales. We're looking for a Performance Marketing & Content Manager who can turn ideas into revenue, campaigns into foot traffic, and content into clicks that convert. You'll run our email, SMS, and social, and manage paid media execution with one clear target: increase same-store sales and grow new customer acquisition.

This is a Bay Area Based work from office/restaurant role.

WHY CURRY UP NOW?

We're not here for average. We're building a bold, loud, rebel brand in fast casual. You'll be reporting directly to the founder and working on campaigns that run same-day and show real results. We move fast. We break sh*t. We make food that slaps.

YOUR MAIN GOAL

Make sales move. Weekly. Across all channels.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
  • Email Marketing (Thanx): Create, schedule, and analyze 23 emails per week. You'll test offers, optimize subject lines, and push high-converting sends tied to promos, LTOs, and location-specific needs.
  • SMS Campaigns (Attentive): Build 24 weekly texts. Nail the tone, time the sends, drive redemptions. Simple. Fast. Effective.
  • Social Media (IG + TikTok): Daily Reels and Stories that highlight our food, promos, and community moments. This is not for vanity. This is for reach + action. Think hooks, trends, and UGC reuse.
  • Paid Ads Oversight (Meta + Google): You won't push the buttons, unless you know this well, but you'll lead the charge. You'll direct creative, offers, copy, and audiences for our paid media partners and review performance weekly with the CEO.
  • Offer Strategy & Execution: You'll run deals, BOGOs, catering pushes, and LTOs across all channels with full ownership.

YOUR GOALS:

  • Increase engagement, CTRs, and conversions across email, SMS, and social
  • Deliver weekly content that supports LTO drops, catering, and store promos
  • Ensure Meta and Google campaigns are high-ROI, even if you're not pushing the buttons
  • Grow the brand's online footprint and personality in every channel

WEEKLY WINS LOOK LIKE:

  • A campaign drives consistent week-over-week sales at stores
  • New catering email + SMS campaign brings in new leads weekly
  • Organic Instagram Reel gets 50K views and growing website taps
  • Meta retargeting ad with your offer copy pulls 6.5% CTR & 2.5% ROAS

Requirements

  • Have 4 to 6+ years of experience in social media and email or SMS marketing with restaurant, cpg experience
  • Know how to craft a killer hook, CTA, and campaign in your sleep
  • Can manage freelancers and agencies while keeping brand control
  • Are equally fluent in TikTok trends and email A/B tests
  • Have a sharp eye for content, copy, and what moves the needle
  • Obsessed with ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, and sales lifts
  • Great at writing headlines, captions, and short-form content that punches
  • Fast, organized, and deeply familiar with restaurant or retail marketing
  • Strategic, but scrappy. We don't have time for 30-page decks
  • Results-focused. You live and die by sales
