Job description

This is an as needed schedule - Experience as a Dietary Aide or Host is preferred.
Position Summary:
Assists with preparation and service of food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients, employees and special events, resulting in foods that taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards. Other duties include: Taking out the trash, Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, utensils, and glassware, delivering food to the patient floors, restock items, clean appliances and machines. sweeping and mopping floors. Document temperature readings of the dishmachine during each shift.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
  • Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction. (ServSafe)
  • Work alongside Cooking staff to prep for daily meal service.

Desired:
