About the Role

Prisma is hiring an experienced Bindery Operator to independently set up and operate bindery
equipment to produce high-quality finished products. This position requires hands-on experience with
cutter, folder, and stitcher setup, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong
understanding of commercial printing bindery processes.
General warehouse, packaging, or unrelated machine operator experience does not replace the
commercial printing experience required for this opening.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up, adjust, and operate bindery equipment to meet job specifications
• Independently perform machine setups on cutters, folders, and stitchers to meet job requirements and
production standards
• Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production specifications
• Measure and verify folds, cuts, page order, alignment, and finished dimensions
• Inspect work throughout production to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines
• Record production counts, waste, and completed work
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working order
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or delays to bindery leadership
• Experience with foil stamping, die cutting, and gluing is a plus
