Are you a detail-oriented machine operator who enjoys active, hands-on work? We are seeking a reliable Sheeter Operator / Material Handler to join our production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for converting large rolls of paper into precision-cut sheeted paper for our pressroom. You will manage machine setups, perform routine maintenance, and transport heavy materials to ensure our high-speed printing operations never face downtime
Pay: $19.15hr.- $25.00 hr.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7pm - 7am

Job Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Setup and operate industrial paper sheeting machinery in strict accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Material Logistics: Safely move, stage, and deliver paper stock throughout the plant using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual equipment.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular, meticulous quality checks on cut paper to ensure precise sizing, clean edges, and zero product defects.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance (PMs) and minor troubleshooting to keep the sheeter running at peak efficiency.

  • Team & Floor Support: Work collaboratively with sheeting department personnel and floor staff to meet daily production goals.

What You Bring:
  • Equipment Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack is required.

  • Technical Competencies: Strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to accurately read a standard ruler.

  • Core Skills: Ability to read and execute written job instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for a 12-hour shift.

  • Strength & Material Handling: Comfort lifting 45-60 lbs regularly, and the physical capability to push/pull up to 1,100 lbs using a manual pallet jack.

  • Environment: Adaptable to working in varying plant conditions, with potential exposure to controlled, non-toxic chemical vapors or mists typical of a print manufacturing environment.
