Electrical Testing Engineer

Mee Industries Inc. was found in the 1969. The company is a leader in developing and manufacturing fog systems for a variety of applications. MeeFog systems are used for cooling gas turbines for the power industry and for humidifying and cooling manufacturing facilities, greenhouses, and wine barrel storage facilities that need a controlled environment. MeeFog systems are also used for special effects to create a cloud or fog effect for landscapes, amusement parks and zoos.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform final testing of the gas turbine inlet air-cooling (fog) systems as well as other MeeFog humidifying systems in the U.S. and abroad. Qualified candidates must have the following knowledge and experience:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general guidelines of the Engineering Department and management:

· Performs testing and records data on all MeeFog gas turbine cooling, humidification, and water treatment systems.

· Performs hands on electrical, plumbing and mechanical duties/functions with regards to testing and troubleshooting.

· Assists with electrical and mechanical design of systems.

· Reviews all engineering documentation to control activity.

· Reviews all engineering change orders.

· Compiles data and prepares reports as needed.

· Interfaces with all level of employees.

· Reads and comprehends inputs such as drawings and specifications.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Requires B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Certificate from Technical College or School or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field required. Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor preferred.

KNOWLEDGE

Must have in depth knowledge of NEC and UL, knowledge of company products and system applications, including design, testing, quality control, analysis, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to the production of various products. Working knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, models and specifications; understand basic plumbing tasks, possess mechanical aptitude, very good analytical, problem solving, communication (verbal & written), and presentation skills. Working knowledge in MS Office and other application software used in production of technical plans. Project management experience, organize and demonstrate initiative - must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Quick learner and creative problem solver. Team oriented, flexible and adaptable; Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Professional – both in demeanor and appearance. Flexible and adaptable to changing products, trends, methods, and procedures. Must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Must have an aptitude and hands on ability for the solution of mechanical and electrical problems. Computer literacy is a must. Must be able to organize projects and prioritize time for multiple projects simultaneously. Effective expression of ideas others along with self-sufficient operation is needed.
