Job description

In Home Behavior Technician (Part-Time)
Start a meaningful career supporting children with autism - and earn a nationally recognized credential while you do it.
At Behavioral Framework, we help children and young adults (up to age 21) build communication, social, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a Part-Time Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with a child in their home, implementing personalized behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This role is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, social work, behavioral health, or working with children. No prior ABA experience is required - we provide free training and certification.
Our technicians typically work 4-5 afternoon/evening shifts per week with the same client for 4-5 hour sessions, building consistent relationships that help children make meaningful progress.

What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children in their homes by:
  • Implementing individualized behavior plans created by your BCBA supervisor
  • Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage progress
  • Collecting session data and writing progress notes
  • Collaborating with your BCBA and caregivers to support client development
  • Engaging in play-based learning activities that build trust and skills

What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, teaching, coaching, etc.)
  • High School or Equivalent Education
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have reliable transportation/Car - Bus and Uber are not considered reliable transportation.
  • Access to a mobile device and ability to navigate technology platforms such as Zoom and Email
  • Physically and actively able to participate in the implementation of all aspects of ABA therapy
  • Must be able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing) in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems.
  • Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Behavior Technicians are required to be available 4-5 weekdays between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., working 4-5 hours per day within that window. Specific schedules are assigned based on client needs.
