Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and administer payroll for employees
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee paperwork
  • Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries
  • Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term disability, and other protected leaves
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare HR-related reports
  • Provide support on employee relations and HR initiatives
  • Workers' Compensation administration
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing / DOT compliance (if they'll inherit that)
  • Benefits open enrollment
  • Employee relations and investigations

Qualifications:
  • Experience in payroll processing and human resources required
