Job Description Direct and evaluate the performance of the electrical craft for all field construction activities in accordance with the project overall construction implementation plan

Ensure that the E&I work scope being delivered conforms with the project specifications and engineered design documents and drawings. Possess a working knowledge of electrical Installation Codes & Standards (NEC/IEC) applicable to Industrial Facilities and NETA Testing & Inspection standards. Coordinate with craft supervision to keep the project construction deliverables on schedule.

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal/national statutes and recommended practices. Ability to communicate effectively with professional audiences to include management, engineers colleagues, clients, vendor contractors and other stakeholders. Provide support for electrical power distribution Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.

Provide Red-Line drawings for any engineered changes that are implemented in the field. Ability to analyze constructability issues and provide accurate solutions that maintain the basic design parameters to craft supervision and construction management. As a minimum, the E&I Construction Engineer is expected to: Resolving complex E&I technical issues by interfacing with the discipline engineering lead, construction engineering manager & construction manager.

Identify inconsistencies between the project specifications, applicable codes and standards is reference to the actual equipment installation, wiring terminations, wire routing, tubing routing, cable glands and E&I consumables. Assist with sequencing E&I Installation Work Packages (IWP) and work activities in conjunction with the project construction schedule. Coordinate project E&I work activities with outside contractors/subcontractors.

Assist with the acquisition of the required materials, construction equipment, engineering deliverables to support the E&I Installation Work Packages (IWP). Incorporate work completion steps with the requirements of the project Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). Ability to interface with construction management by providing construction installation updates and support in reference to actual construction completion percentages, material shortages and non-compliance issues.

Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive construction execution plan to include functional staff support, support of craft activities and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality construction execution. Adhere to and support BNH/Fluor's Sustainability Policies Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience; a recognized certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements Have a minimum of 5-years, working in the EPC industry on large scale (>$5 million USD) commercial and industrial projects.

Have electrical & instrumentation Pre-Commissioning experience. Basic computer and program software skills to include Microsoft Office suite, Email and productive computer-based software. Demonstrated ability to make decisions, demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
