Job description

As an Assembly Technician with the Fluke Phoenix Team, you will assemble, and test mechanical and electronic/electromechanical products to work instructions, drawings and procedures while keeping material areas clean and organized.  This position works in our manufacturing facility and interacts with other manufacturing cell associates, planner buyer, and operations manager daily.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble and test mechanical and electromechanical products
  • Tube fabrication including cutting threading and bending
  • Cable fabrication including termination, crimping and soldering
  • Read and interpret drawings, work instructions and procedures
  • Complete tests, troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Work within a daily management system including tracking key metrics
  • Maintain a clean safe and 5S work area.
  • Help ensure proper material levels by using the material replenishment system.
  • Participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Will provide OJT
