Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Director to lead physical construction execution across the Wisconsin regional data center portfolio. This role is responsible for driving field execution, contractor performance, construction productivity, sequencing alignment, logistics coordination, and recovery execution across active projects.
The Construction Director provides regional construction leadership to ensure sites operate efficiently, trades flow without unnecessary congestion, contractors execute predictably, and construction turnover supports downstream commissioning, startup, and operational readiness.
This role requires a strong field presence across active projects, with expected onsite engagement of approximately 60%-80% depending on project phase, execution needs, and recovery priorities.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction execution across active Wisconsin data center projects
  • Manage GC performance, accountability, and execution standards
  • Drive site execution standards and field productivity
  • Support workface planning, trade flow, and sequencing alignment
  • Oversee logistics coordination across active construction areas
  • Lead recovery execution and construction issue resolution
  • Support construction manpower strategy and contractor planning
  • Coordinate installation quality with project, QA/QC, and commissioning teams
  • Validate trade flow, logistics, sequencing, and contractor performance in the field
  • Resolve cross-site execution friction and escalate risks when needed
  • Ensure construction turnover supports startup flow and downstream readiness

Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience leading construction execution in data center, mission-critical, infrastructure, or large-scale construction environments
  • Proven ability to manage general contractors, subcontractors, field teams, and construction leadership
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, workface planning, and trade coordination
  • Experience driving recovery plans, schedule adherence, field productivity, and contractor accountability
  • Ability to identify execution risks, remove blockers, and resolve cross-functional construction issues
  • Strong knowledge of installation quality, turnover readiness, and construction-to-commissioning handoff requirements
  • Excellent field leadership, communication, and escalation skills
  • Ability to influence across project teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership stakeholders
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, execution discipline, and delivery flow

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
