Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Floating Leaders work between multiple locations and variable shifts. A Floating Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the regional manager in a variety of store operational duties. This position will serve as a role model for all barista responsibilities and will also serve as a team leader in each store. There is never a dull moment in this ever evolving role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages
  • Cash handling and drawer reconciliation
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain the store
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
  • Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with personalized online training
  • Consistent communication with Baristas, Store Manager and Regional Manager
  • Assist store manager or regional manager with goals and performance expectations
  • Understanding and training in store manager duties included but not limited to: deposits, scheduling, inventory and orders, staff interviews, performance reviews and growth
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Travel between stores: up to 2 hours one way
