About the Role:
The Floating Assistant Manager in the real estate and rental leasing industry plays a pivotal role in supporting multiple property management teams across various locations. This position requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly transition between properties to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and adherence to company policies. The major end result of this role is to maintain high standards of property management by overseeing daily operations, addressing tenant concerns promptly, and assisting in leasing activities. The Floating Assistant Manager acts as a key liaison between property managers, maintenance teams, and tenants, ensuring smooth communication and efficient problem resolution. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to maximizing property value and enhancing the overall tenant experience across the portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in property management or real estate leasing.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently between properties.
Preferred Qualifications:.
- Experience managing multiple properties or portfolios.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and local real estate regulations.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support to property management teams at multiple locations, ensuring consistent operational standards.
- Assist in leasing activities including showing properties, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests and vendor services to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Support property managers in financial tasks such as rent collection, budgeting, and reporting.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor on-site staff to uphold service standards and operational procedures.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities.
