Senior Control Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for the specification, design, modeling, validation, and verification of complex safety-critical and flight-critical control system subsystems. Develops system-level requirements for hardware and software components and ensures traceability through verification and certification evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, evaluate, and validate control system requirements with stakeholders
  • Develop system models and simulations of control and actuation behavior
  • Capture and manage evidence for requirements, constraints, safety, security, and quality attributes
  • Allocate requirements to verification and test plans and support test strategy development
  • Perform analysis using modeling, simulation, and requirement evaluation techniques
  • Design, review, and execute tests to confirm requirement compliance
  • Support issue investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution through targeted testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on component performance and integration
  • Support hazard analysis and safety-critical system design activities
  • Produce technical reports documenting analysis, testing, and conclusions
  • Support certification/qualification evidence development and stakeholder communication (FAA/DoD)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
  • Experience on certified or qualified safety-critical / flight-critical programs
  • Experience in control systems development, validation, and verification
  • Experience generating or supporting certification/qualification evidence
  • Ability to interpret test results and perform system-level analysis
