The Space Training Instructor position is an exciting opportunity based in Colorado Springs, CO that encompasses dimensions of training curriculum development, classroom instruction, and project support. The training tasks will focus on Space-related subject matter across multiple projects executed by Kratos Space Training and Cyber Security division. In addition, provide training for Kratos personnel to meet internal requirements. The successful candidate, as part of our product delivery team, will work with our management, product, and project teams to create training materials, build tailored solutions for executing programs, and strengthen our market expertise. * Analyze project objectives, scope, and operational requirements to derive training requirements * Develop curriculum for military and government training environments to meet established course or curriculum standards * Develop and deliver effective customer presentations (design reviews, training reviews status reports, kickoff meetings, training plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a program, project, or system level * Train military and government personnel in Space or Space-related systems and/or concepts * Interface directly with customers to ensure training requirements are met and ensure our performance exceeds customer expectations * Develop training processes and concepts for Kratos Space, including ground system components * Coordinate training among multiple projects and cost centers within Kratos Space * Understand data security processes and implementation Experience and Skills * Current active Security Clearance Required (Secret) with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI * Experience developing courses for Space Operations and Intelligence (IC) personnel to gain proficiency in the Space Domain * Experience with SV launch operations and training operators * Experience using advanced modeling and simulation systems in the Space domain * Excellent written and oral communications skills * Travel as necessary to customer meetings and formal training support Preferred Skills and Experience * Experience using advanced modeling and simulation systems in the Space domain * 3+ years' experience in satellite operations * Experience in orbital planning and maneuvering concepts either in a training, exercise, or operations role #LI-Onsite The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
