Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction in general academic assistance, functional academics, and executive functioning skills
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of a nonverbal student with multiple disabilities
- Utilize hands-on learning activities and manipulatives to support engagement and skill development
- Recognize and respond to the student's individualized communication methods
- Support functional literacy, math, problem-solving, and independent living skills
- Create structured, accessible, and engaging learning experiences
- Collaborate with facility staff and support providers to ensure consistency across environments
- Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies based on the student's needs and responses
Qualifications:
