Job description

Monitor Technician

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 Duration: 13 weeks contract Shift: 5x8 hours Nights, Possible rotating as per need, 40hrs/week

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and interpret patient telemetry rhythms and promptly report rhythm changes.
  • Track telemetry equipment, maintain monitoring supplies, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuous cardiac monitoring and patient safety.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiac Arrhythmia course required.
  • Must pass a basic arrhythmia/rhythm interpretation competency test.
  • 1 year of hospital or related healthcare experience required.
  • Medical Assistant and/or EKG Technician training preferred.
