Job Summary

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Cardiac Observation Unit (COU)

Assignment Details
  • Position Type: Travel RN

  • Specialty: RN โ€“ EP Lab / Cardiac Observation

  • Start Date: April 27, 2026

  • Duration: 13 Weeks

  • Shift Time: 6:00 AM โ€“ 6:30 PM


Key Responsibilities
  • Admit and assess cardiac patients

  • Prepare patients for procedures (IV starts, charting, access prep)

  • Assist physicians during exams and procedures

  • Monitor and recover patients post conscious sedation

  • Perform and document bedside procedures (TEE & CV)

  • Administer medications within RN scope of practice

  • Provide discharge education and complete documentation


Schedule & Call Details
  • Shift Options: 3x12-hour shifts (Days)

    • 0600โ€“1830

    • 0700โ€“1930

    • 0800โ€“2030

  • Weekend Call Rotation:

    • Approximately every 4โ€“6 weeks

    • Saturday: 0700โ€“1700

    • Sunday: 0700โ€“1400


Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license (Arizona or Compact State)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience


Preferred Experience (Considered Case-by-Case)
  • PACU

  • ICU

  • Telemetry

  • Cath Lab

  • Surgery Center
