Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Sound Engineer with solid experience in the advertising industry to join the Publicis Production studio in Madrid. Your focus will be on designing, producing, and mixing sound for our campaigns while also helping define how AI can be naturally integrated into our audio workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Sound design and production for advertising projects (TV, digital, social media, branded content, radio, and podcasts).
  • Audio editing, mixing, and mastering for audiovisual post-production projects.
  • Creation of soundscapes, sound effects, and voice processing.
  • Adaptation of audio for different formats, platforms, and markets.
  • Technical management of voice recording and voice-over sessions.
  • Collaboration with editors, directors, and creative teams to ensure consistency between visuals and sound.
  • Active participation in the integration of AI-powered audio tools within the studio's workflows.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards across all deliverables.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in sound design and mixing, ideally within advertising agencies, production companies, or post-production studios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Pro Tools and audiovisual post-production workflows.
  • Strong experience in mixing, mastering, voice editing, and creating sound effects/soundscapes for advertising.
  • Genuine interest and demonstrable knowledge of AI applied to audio, including familiarity with AI-based audio generation and editing tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Adobe Podcast/Enhance, Respeecher, or similar), and a clear understanding of how to integrate them into real-world production workflows.
  • Strong creative sensibility and sound judgment applied to storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Advanced knowledge of audio plugins, sound libraries, and immersive audio mixing techniques (Dolby Atmos, binaural audio).
  • Experience in voice direction and podcast or branded audio content production.
