Production/Sound Engineer and DJ
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production/Sound Engineer and DJ to manage all technical and production aspects of events at our indoor and outdoor venue stages. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with event coordination responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Technical Operations
  • Operate and maintain all production equipment and technical systems during events and activations
  • Master both indoor and outdoor stage systems, ensuring optimal performance across all venue spaces
  • Ensure strict compliance with City of Denver noise ordinances and venue-specific policies while delivering professional-quality events
  • Perform routine maintenance and care of all production equipment to ensure reliability and longevity
Event Coordination & Advancement
  • Coordinate technical advancement for national and regional touring musicians, including stage plots, input lists, and FOH requirements
  • Manage technical planning and execution for private events
  • Provide live mixing and technical support for diverse programming including live music performances, watch parties, presentations, and special activations
Scheduling & Coverage
  • Maintain flexible availability to accommodate varying shift demands (1-5 shifts per week depending on event schedule)
  • Cover minimum 75% of assigned shifts personally
  • Train and coordinate approved substitute engineers for remaining 25% of shifts, ensuring consistent quality and familiarity with venue systems
Requirements
Experience & Education
  • Required: Minimum 2 years of live or studio music production/mixing experience
  • Preferred: Music or production-related degree
  • Preferred: DJ experience and performance background
