Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking qualified Welding Inspectors and QA/QC personnel to support piping and welding projects in a fast-paced semiconductor construction environment.

This role includes two levels of positions: Welding Inspector and QA/QC PM. Candidates will be assigned responsibilities based on certifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welding Inspection / QAQC (Inspector Level)

  • Perform visual inspection (VT) of weld beads and piping installations
  • Ensure welding work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
  • Record inspection results and maintain QA/QC documentation
  • Coordinate with field teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Support pressure testing and inspection activities when required

QAQC PM (Senior Level)

  • Lead QA/QC activities for piping and welding projects
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures
  • Oversee inspection processes and ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Manage documentation, audits, and quality reporting

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of welding inspection or QA/QC processes
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Willingness to work overtime or flexible schedules

Certification Requirements

Welding Inspector

  • One of the following is required:
    • ISO 9712 VT Level II, OR
    • ASNT VT Level II

Candidates with ISO 9712 VT Level I may be considered, with required training and certification upgrade to Level II after onboarding.

QAQC PM

  • ISO 9712 VT Level II (or equivalent) required
  • AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, construction, or piping environments
  • Familiarity with welding standards and QA/QC procedures
  • Experience working on TSMC or similar projects
  • Mandarin communication skills are a plus
