About the Organization

At Addiction Recovery Counseling, LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality mental health services tailored to the unique needs of a diverse population. As a leader in the telehealth space in Los Angeles, California, we utilize cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices to reach individuals seeking care. Our philosophy centers on empowerment, resilience, and providing holistic care to support clients in their journey toward well-being.

Work Environment

Operating in a fully remote setting, our counselors enjoy the flexibility of telehealth, allowing them to connect with clients from the comfort of their own space. Understanding the fast-paced nature of mental health services, we prioritize work-life balance and offer a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on the unique needs of our clients. This position fosters a collaborative professional atmosphere where open communication and support are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ascertain the mental health needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative, solution-focused interventions to establish personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement effective therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven modalities to enhance client engagement and recovery.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and enhancing continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care solutions.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, peer review meetings, and professional development sessions to share insights, improve interventions, and refine clinical practice.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and facilitate their access to community resources and support networks.
  • Stay informed about advancements in mental health research and practices, actively seeking professional growth and development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals seeking support for mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their therapeutic journey, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and support tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • Proficiency in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques while addressing the unique needs of each client.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to respond effectively to client needs and challenges.
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive within a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to a culture of collaboration and support.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in a telehealth environment, particularly in delivering remote mental health services.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices in mental health care.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent care practices.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans designed to support your and your family's well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance offerings to ensure financial security during unforeseen circumstances.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage and professional liability protection, allowing you to operate confidently in your role.
  • Access to an employee assistance program offering additional support for personal and professional challenges.
