Job description

School Psychologist – Wells, ME

A school district in Wells, Maine is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This flexible, evaluation-focused opportunity is open to both hybrid and travel candidates, with approximately 24 hours per week and the possibility of additional hours for the right candidate.

Position Details

  • Location: Wells, Maine

  • Position: School Psychologist

  • Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year

  • Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 24 Hours per Week

  • Additional Hours: Open to more hours for the right candidate

  • Setting: Hybrid options available

  • Travel Candidates: Open to travel candidates

Responsibilities

  • Conduct approximately 40–50 psychoeducational evaluations throughout the school year

  • Complete comprehensive evaluation reports

  • Attend IEP referral and eligibility meetings

  • Lead and participate in eligibility meetings

  • Collaborate with school teams on behavior planning and student support

  • Provide recommendations based on evaluation findings

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education timelines
