  • Oversee container drayage operations involving ports, rail ramps, warehouses, customers, and distribution centers.
  • Coordinate closely with dispatchers, drivers, and owner-operators to guarantee timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor daily freight activity, equipment utilization, driver availability, and operational performance metrics.
  • Consistently meet service commitments and uphold customer expectations.
  • Identify operational issues such as delays, equipment challenges, staffing concerns, and service disruptions, implementing effective solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers, owner-operators, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure operations adhere to safety policies, DOT regulations, and transportation compliance standards.
  • Promote a safety-first culture across all terminal activities.
  • Track operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement in productivity, service levels, utilization, and profitability.
  • Manage employee performance, accountability, scheduling, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Support driver and owner-operator retention through clear communication and operational support.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy execution and continuous operational improvement.
  • Facilitate accurate, timely communication among operations, clients, drivers, and management.
