Role: : CNC Applications Engineer
Location: Riverwoods, IL
 - Onsite
Job Type : Fulltime and Permanent

Job Summary:

         We are Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong expertise in CNC machining, programming, machine setup, and customer support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Fanuc and Siemens control systems, CNC machine operations, CAD/CAM programming, and machining process optimization. This role also involves supporting customers and dealers with CNC applications, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and debug CNC machining programs for milling, turning, VMC, TC, and multi-axis machines.
  • Perform CNC machine setup, tooling setup, and machine operation using Fanuc and Siemens controls.
  • Support CNC machining processes including cutting theory, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds optimization.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify machining programs.
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation, and machining process issues.
  • Provide technical support and application assistance to customers, dealers, and end users.
  • Assist with machine demonstrations, customer training, and process improvement activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of experience in Developing , Optimizing and Debugging CNC Machining Program.
  • Experience in CNC machine set up and operation specifically with Fanuc and siemens.
  • Hands-on experience in Control System programming such as Fanuc and Siemens and VMC, TC, and Multiaxis Machine operation capability.
  • Strong experience in CAD or CAM Software.
  • Strong experience in Cutting Theory, Tooling, and Machine Processes.
  • Hands on experience with customer (dealers and clients) support for CNC applications.
