Job description

Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment, providing high-quality imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform digital X-rays for orthopedic patients in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation protection, and image quality.
  • Work closely with orthopedic providers and medical assistants to support efficient clinic flow.
  • Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment; ensure compliance with all state, COMAR, and radiation safety standards.
  • Enter images into PACS and electronic medical records accurately.
  • Support orthopedic urgent care operations, including walk-in and scheduled patients.
  • Assist in patient preparation, room setup, and clinical support tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Current Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (required)
  • ARRT certification (R) preferred.
  • Experience in orthopedics or urgent care strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and image quality standards.
  • Professional, courteous, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Schedule:
  • Full-time or part-time position available.
  • Daytime and some evening/weekend shifts (Saturday availability preferred).
