Job Description About the Role The Software Development Engineer III (SDE III) is responsible for the reliability, stability, and operational health of production systems supporting customer correspondence platforms. This role requires broad technical expertise and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to diagnose and resolve issues end-to-end. The SDE III plays a key role in supporting critical production environments by responding to high-priority incidents, collaborating across teams, and driving continuous operational improvements.

This individual will balance speed, quality, and risk while helping improve system reliability, scalability, and overall platform performance. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members while consistently delivering on commitments Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to achieve project and operational objectives Meet and exceed SLAs related to incident response and resolution Ensure customer correspondence systems meet regulatory, legal, and audit requirements Identify recurring production issues and implement long-term solutions to reduce incidents and MTTR Monitor production systems and integrations to proactively identify issues impacting delivery, rendering, or personalization Perform deep root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions Maintain a production-first mindset focused on uptime, scalability, and rapid issue resolution Contribute to Agile best practices to improve product quality, delivery speed, and team effectiveness Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Agile Scrum teams and leading continuous improvement initiatives Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Demonstrated success driving measurable business value across teams Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills Technical Skills Customer Communication Management Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) SmartCOMM DevOps & Automation Azure DevOps (YAML, ARM) Terraform Jenkins Chef Octopus Deploy Frontend Technologies Angular JavaScript CSS Node.js ASP.NET MVC Programming Languages Java C# (.NET MVC / .NET Core) Go Scripting PowerShell Bash Databases Oracle Microsoft SQL Server NoSQL databases (CosmosDB) Test Automation Selenium SpecFlow Postman Maven TestNG JMeter XamarinUITest DevTest Test Data Manager Operating Systems Windows Linux Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred 4-6 years of software development experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation and bonus eligibility Comprehensive benefits package available day one 401(k) matching Paid parental leave Tuition reimbursement and training opportunities Community service paid time off Flexible hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite per week) Culture Join a collaborative and innovative environment that values integrity, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
