Job description

                           Clinical Pharmacist - ICU

Position highlights:

        Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort. Worth, TX 76104   

        Hours: 40 hours; Rotating shifts (PM/AM); work every 3rd weekend

Here's What You Need  

        Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required  

        Other Pharm D. Required

        CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.

        PHAR- Pharmacist upon hire required.

        3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.

        PGY1 training plus three years critical care (ICU) experience OR

        PGY1 and Critical Care PGY2 training highly preferred

        Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.  

What You Will Do

        Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

        Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

        Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

        Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.

        Ongoing professional development and growth.

        Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

        Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

        Other duties as assigned.
