Job Summary

The Chen Wang Research Group is seeking a highly motivated, creative, andambitious Postdoctoral Research Fellow to lead a project at the intersection ofadditive manufacturing, polymer chemistry, and materials science. The successfulcandidate will lead the optimization of this printing platform, characterize thefundamental reaction kinetics, and validate its translation into high-impactenergy and medical applications. Candidates preferably hold a Ph.D. in MaterialsScience, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or arelated field, backed by a strong track record of first-author publications.This role requires hands-on expertise in vat photopolymerization 3D printing(SLA/DLP), custom resin formulation, and nanoscale characterization techniqueslike SEM. A deep understanding of polymer chemistryรขEUR"specificallyphotopolymerization kinetics, polymerization-induced phase separation (PIPS), ordynamic covalent chemistryรขEUR"is essential. Ideally, the preferred candidatewill also bring experience in 3D printer customization, software/hardwareintegration, and CAD modeling skills.
