About the Opportunity
DMI is currently seeking to hire a Salesforce Architect to support a Federal Government customer in the DC metro area. The candidate will be responsible for the solution design, development, and support of Salesforce related engagements. In addition, the Salesforce Architect will be a trusted advisor to our team and clients with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platforms and other solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, primarily focusing on leveraging OmniStudio and Flex Pages.
  • Design solutions for grants management, case management, and constituent engagement aligned to Federal programs
  • Utilize Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce specifically tailored for OmniStudio and Flex Pages development.
  • Design and develop Flex Pages, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant components within OmniStudio to enhance user experience and streamline business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Salesforce OOB, LWC, OmniStudio and Flex Pages capabilities.
  • Implement and maintain advanced functionalities within OmniStudio, including creating dynamic layouts, data integration, and process automation.
  • Develop and customize Velocity templates to generate personalized content and communications within the Salesforce platform.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations related to OmniStudio and Flex Pages development.
  • Work collaboratively with Salesforce Administrators and other team members to ensure seamless integration of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions with existing Salesforce environments.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and best practices related to OmniStudio and Flex Pages development within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the usage and maintenance of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions.
  • Continuously optimize and improve OmniStudio and Flex Pages implementations to align with evolving business needs and objectives.
  • Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders on the project
  • Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, and HHS security frameworks
  • Architect enterprise data integration and governance strategies
  • Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise analytics platforms (Power BI/Tableau)
  • Enable AI-driven capabilities using Salesforce Einstein / GenAI solutions
  • Support enterprise reporting, search, and performance monitoring initiatives
  • Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor to federal stakeholders and executives
  • Translate business, regulatory, and mission requirements into scalable technical solutions

Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field preferred
  • Salesforce product knowledge and at least 12+ years of Salesforce architecture and development experience
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations in complex environments

Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Strong experience with configuration, customization, and programming with APEX APIs, OmniStudio
  • Strong experience working with Salesforce APIs
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce
  • Ability to solve high-level software and application issues.
  • Proficient with Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Background Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
