View Point Health is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Asset Manager - Healthcare is responsible for managing the lifecycle, performance, maintenance, utilization, and regulatory compliance of the healthcare organization's fleet assets, including patient transport vehicles, service vehicles, and related equipment.
This role works closely with program leaders, clinical teams, vendors, and finance departments to ensure fleet reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations Management
  • Oversee daily fleet operations for healthcare transportation services.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization, availability, and performance metrics.
  • Develop strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate vehicle assignments based on operational needs.

Asset Lifecycle Management
  • Manage acquisition, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and disposal of fleet assets.
  • Conduct fleet utilization and replacement analyses.
  • Develop long-term fleet asset plans and capital expenditure forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and inventory databases.

Maintenance & Compliance
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are completed on time.
  • Monitor repair activities and vendor performance.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Ensure fleet adherence to healthcare, safety, environmental, and accreditation requirements.

Financial Management
  • Develop and manage fleet operating and capital budgets.
  • Analyze operating costs, fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and total cost of ownership.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, leasing companies, and maintenance vendors.

Safety & Risk Management
  • Implement fleet safety programs and driver training initiatives.
  • Investigate vehicle incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor driver performance and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure proper insurance coverage and risk mitigation practices.

Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Utilize fleet management software and telematics systems.
  • Generate reports on fleet performance, maintenance trends, utilization, and costs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support leadership with data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of transportation or job-related experience with at least two (2) years as a lead or supervisor or an Associate's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of transportation job-related experience with at least two (2) year as a lead or supervisor or 3 years of experience at the lower level (TRP032) or equivalent position.

Requirements/Competencies:
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds,

  • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
