Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating fleet services, including, but not limited to, registrations, assignments, tracking, maintenance, safety, and more. The person in this position works with the Sr. Fleet Manager in the Indiana office, who guides the processes. The Fleet Coordinator is required to work closely with a variety of teams and individuals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Oversee the assignment of vehicles to employees and departments.
2. Manage all keys associated with vehicles and equipment.
3. Keep accurate records on an ongoing and on-demand basis.
4. Coordinate maintenance and repair appointments.
5. Ensure all necessary driver requirements are completed.
6. Confirm completion of all inspection documentation and safety requirements.
7. Insure timely registration renewals.
8. Assign and maintain GPS tracking devices and information.
9. Assist with the purchasing process of new and replacement vehicles and equipment.
10. Document incidents involving vehicles or drivers.
11. Foster cooperation among departments to ensure efficient use of vehicles as well as all documentation required.
12. Driving duties include conveying materials, equipment, and staff to and from work sites and ability to meet necessary FMCSA requirements (includes passing the DOT physical).
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with basic automotive repair
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer software
• Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Joink office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute)
• Candidates which have the following will have priority: Experience in fleet management or related field
