Job description

TEST US QBO Elite is seeking a TEST Feature Flag enabler to support reliable, secure, and controlled feature rollouts in a hybrid work environment.

Position Summary

The TEST Feature Flag enabler will help drive the planning, configuration, and verification of feature flags to ensure new functionality can be tested, validated, and released with confidence. This role focuses on enabling consistent behavior across environments, reducing risk, and supporting teams with clear, dependable rollout controls.

Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will help establish repeatable processes for flag management, manage test scenarios, and ensure feature changes are tracked and governed throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage feature flag configurations to support testing, controlled releases, and environment parity.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to define rollout criteria, activation rules, and expected outcomes.

  • Validate feature behavior in test scenarios, including safe enablement, rollback readiness, and consistent user experience.

  • Maintain documentation and operational clarity around flag purpose, owners, and usage patterns.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot feature flag behavior to support stability during development and release cycles.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts and feature rollout strategies (including controlled enablement and validation).

  • Experience working with configuration-driven functionality and environment-based behavior.

  • Ability to translate requirements into clear test plans and verification steps.

  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset to ensure reliable enablement outcomes.
