The Accounting Operations Manager is responsible for fixed asset, payroll, and other general accounting in support of all Revelyst brands. This role supports and oversees asset capitalization, asset tracking, depreciation and payroll related activity. The Accounting Operations Manager will lead and support general accounting process and work cross functionally within the organization ensuring proper adherence to policy and supporting FP&A with capex reporting and forecasting. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and is based onsite at our Irvine, CA office.

As the Accounting Operations Manager, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Manage the fixed asset accounting function, including but not limited to capitalization, disposals depreciation and amortization of intangibles.

  • Maintain the fixed asset modules and ensure reconciliation to the General Ledger.

  • Oversee and support payroll accounting and reconcile payroll related balance sheet accounts.

  • Perform and support other general accounting activities as directed

  • Support budgeting and forecasting for capital expenditures

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory requirements for all brands.

  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate direct reports

  • Supervise and review the work of direct reports

  • Maintain effective internal control over financial reporting.

  • Provide accurate analysis of operating results compared to plan and forecast as applicable.

  • Review accounting processes; recommend and implement improvements.

  • Support internal and external audits.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.

  • CPA license preferred.

  • 8+ years' experience in accounting, specializing in fixed asset accounting, with demonstrated experience managing and mentoring staff.

  • Experience in large/mid-cap companies-preferably in consumer products or similar industry.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC topics 360.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.

  • Ability to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.

  • Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).

  • Ability to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
