Job Summary
As a core member of the data team, the QA Analyst constantly works to improve our enterprise applications and data pipelines. The QA Analyst acts as the subject matter expert when it comes to pinpointing errors or defects within software and systems, and determining how those can be resolved.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Designs and manages the test framework and plans throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
  • Responsible for authoring and executing business-oriented test cases and scripts for outcome-based validation.
  • Operates in a highly hands-on capacity, using the software or system themselves so that they have a firsthand experience.
  • Designs and operates automated systems to support testing activities to advance the validation framework.
  • Through testing if issues are identified, the QA Analyst is responsible for reporting findings to the development team and partnering to resolve the identified defect within a pre-defined period of time.
  • Reviews and trends test results to identify thematic root cause issues and drive overall continuous improvement in the delivery processes.
  • Demonstration of a high degree of technical proficiency as well as attention to detail
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Primary Skills & Requirements:
  • Experience within the financial services industry including experience with insurance carriers, and / or asset managers including their systems and tools (e.g., NCSS, DTCC, DST, etc.)
  • 5 plus years working in a validation, quality control, quality assurance, analysis or optimization role.
  • Experience developing technical documentation and test plans
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
