Up Fit Installer Description
The Up Fit Installer installs steel, electrical and other components required for vehicle upfits. Disassembles and reassembles vehicles as needed for each installation.
The ideal Up Fit Installer disassembles and reassembles vehicles as needed for installation. They will install all necessary components for specific up fit builds as detailed on the work order (IE: alarms, cameras, ladder racks, tool boxes, shelving, partitions, lighting, etc.) They will program electrical components and install all completed vehicle upfits ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, quality and full functionality.
Our company uses many different technologies and our Up Fit Installers are expected to be comfortable with and make use of all of the programs that we use including CDK, Rapid Recon, Microsoft 365 and Teams as well as various Manufacturer websites.
This position requires a valid driver license and acceptable records check.
