What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a FirstNet Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a FirstNet Specialist, you need a solid understanding of wireless communications, network infrastructure, and public safety technology, typically supported by experience in telecommunications or IT and relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+. Working on the FirstNet team involves close collaboration with public safety agencies, government officials, and technical partners to ensure the delivery of reliable, mission-critical communications.
