The Business Development Representative (BDR) for the Public Transit Division is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with prospects from the first contact. The BDR will assist in advancing Pro-Vision's position in the market by growing our prospect list and interested customer base, increase sales, and contribute to the overall growth of the Transit Division. 

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will:

  •  Understand competitive product offerings and key selling points and be familiar with target markets 
  •  Have complete product knowledge and mastery of key selling points for all lines
  •  Manage/keep up to date information in CRM Platform (Salesforce) as required 
  •  Assist with national trade show leads in a timely manner
  • • Work cohesively with Director of Sales and members of departments within Pro-Vision to meet territory and company goals

Qualifications/Education:

  • High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, goal-oriented, and success driven
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas – you get immense satisfaction from surpassing your sales goals!
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Passion for building relationships and solving problems
  • Effective, persuasive communication style (written and verbal)
  • Ability to generate opportunities and produce results
  • Transportation sector experience (preferred)
  • Have 3+ years of outside sales experience (required)
  • College degree in business field (preferred)
