Our Solar business delivers industry leading, U.S.-made solar components. We manufacture hyper-pure polysilicon, high-quality solar wafers, and innovative photovoltaic modules, leveraging our leadership in advanced manufacturing to serve growing energy demand. You will be a part of advancing critical U.S. supply chains and delivering unmatched quality and reliability to customers. 

Purpose of the Position:

Flexible positive coverage and frontline leadership for plant maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shift maintenance operations to support production goals.
  • Provide focus and direction to all on shift plant maintenance employees.
  • Manage resources (people, materials, equipment) to optimize equipment uptime, throughput, and maintenance quality.
  • Ensure scheduled preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance activities are completed safely while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintaining safety, environmental and regulatory requirements while performing all maintenance activities.
  • Create and maintain a safety 1st environment for all employees.
  • Aid in establishing a culture of positivity, simultaneously instituting process discipline and continuous improvement.
  • Track and report maintenance metrics aligned to production scorecard goals to leadership.
  • Develop staffing, training plans, and tooling needs for maintenance technicians, and skilled trades.  
  • Build effective relationships with operators, internal stakeholders, and management.
  • Perform employee performance reviews and administer feedback and recognition when appropriate.
  • Onboard and train hourly maintenance workforce.
Work Hours:
  • Ability to work 12-hour 2-3-2 pitman schedule for 24/7 to support production operations.
  • Flexible hours may be required to support coverage/weekend/evenings operations requirements.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related technical field and 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • In Lieu of a bachelor’s degree a 5 + years of direct supervision of maintenance employees in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and lead skilled maintenance employees, providing clear direction and establishing expectations.
  • Experience coordinating activities within cross functional areas of responsibility and collaboration with multiple departments.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and positive leadership
  • Process control and discipline.
  • Capacity to learn and grow.
  • Strong customer centric mindset
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments efficiently with minimal supervision.

The range for this position is  $88,942.00 - $122,295.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
