Job Requirements

Momentum Solar is one of the nation’s leading residential solar companies. Since 2009, we have helped homeowners take control of their energy costs while creating rewarding careers in the growing renewable energy industry.

We are seeking confident, driven sales professionals to join our team as Solar Canvassing Representatives. You will engage homeowners in local communities, introduce the benefits of solar energy, and schedule qualified appointments for our Solar Consultants.

What We Offer

  • $500 weekly base pay plus uncapped commission
  • Estimated on-target earnings of $70,000–$100,000 annually

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect door to door in assigned neighborhoods
  • Educate homeowners about the potential benefits of solar
  • Build interest and schedule qualified appointments
  • Overcome objections and communicate value effectively
  • Track activity and work toward individual and team goals
  • Represent Momentum Solar professionally in the community

This is an outdoor, outside sales position that requires confidence approaching and engaging homeowners.

Paid Training and Development

Our six-week training program combines classroom instruction, sales practice, and supported field experience. Training includes:

  • Solar fundamentals and homeowner benefits
  • Effective sales and prospecting techniques
  • Building rapport and creating interest
  • Objection handling and appointment setting
  • Role-playing and supported field demonstrations
  • Individual coaching and performance feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous canvassing, outside sales, direct sales, or door-to-door experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to approach customers and start conversations
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Confidence handling objections and rejection
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Coachability, reliability, and a strong work ethic
