Job description

Production Worker - 1st Shift
M-F 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Saturday as needed)
Job Summary:
  • Assemble parts in specified relationship to shop orders
  • Work at varies work stations as production needs require
  • Package vinyl/aluminum gates and fence sections according to orders
  • Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment
  • Perform other routine duties as needed

Required Skills:
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

Pay rate varies by department. Employees are eligible for a raise after 60 days and again after 6 months of employment pending review. Weekly Production Bonus eligibility begins after 90 days of employment ($50 minimum per week) for qualified positions.

  • Paid Weekly
  • All DSI employees receive a $15,000 Life Insurance policy after 60 days of employment paid for by the company.
  • After 3 years of employment, DSI pays for 90% of an employee's health insurance premium.
  • Employees can take out Dental &/or Vision insurance but decline medical coverage.
  • 401(k) plan available after 1 year of employment with DSI matching 25% of employee contributions up to 6% (1.5% DSI match)
  • Employees are paid for 6 major holidays effective day 1 of employment.
  • Vacation time after 90 days of employment per the following schedule: 90 days = 1 Vacation Day; 6 months = 1 Vacation Day; 9 months = 1 Vacation Day. Any unused vacation time earned within the 1st year of employment will be paid out on employee's check the week following their 1 year anniversary.
  • Annual Company Summer Picnic & Thanksgiving Dinner (family friendly) & Christmas Dinner.
  • Monthly birthday lunches for all employees (office, production, ALL shifts).
