We are seeking a Senior Financial Service Lead for our First Quality Consumer Products company located in McElhattan, PA. This position is responsible for the management of assigned customer accounts including credit evaluations, financial reviews, collections, and Market Development Funding (MDF) levels. Evaluate and maintain accrual accounts sufficient to adequately cover promotional and other expenses associated with customer accounts. Partner with Sales Ambassadors and cross-functional supply chain leaders to facilitate financial efficiencies in the order to cash process.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for all commercial finance aspects of assigned customer accounts

  • Collection of customers account balances via phone and email

  • Review, investigate and resolve customer's deductions, discrepancies, and claims in assigned time frame by engaging with cross-functional supply chain and sales colleagues.

  • Perform root cause analysis and interact with cross-functional colleagues to identify areas of improvement to limit reoccurrences of unauthorized claims due to internal deficiencies on assigned accounts.

  • Issue credit and debit memos as required to clear approved customer claims or identify chargebacks to customer accounts.

  • Release orders that go on credit hold

  • Evaluate and maintain sufficient MDF and other customer accrual accounts for customer promotional and sales related expenses using Vistex.

  • Prepare monthly reports to Sales team and Finance team as needed.

  • Create and maintain Vistex agreements to ensure proper accruals for promo and rebated related customer programs.

  • Perform maintenance on customer files within ERP system as needed.

  • A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent.

  • May assume a team lead role for the work group.

  • Supervises a team of 2-3 Financial Services Analysts

  • Leads complex projects and/or accounts.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting

  • Experience in roles with exposure to commercial processes.

  • Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience in ERP systems such as SAP

  • Knowledge of US GAAP basic principles and elements of internal controls

  • Understanding of manufacturing accounting environment and commercial processes.

  • Experience working independently with limited supervision.

  • Experience interacting with different departments
