Job description

First Call Staffing is currently seeking qualified candidates for 1st Shift Forklift Operator positions in the Greenfield area. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of certified forklift experience.
Position Details:
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with potential overtime
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
  • A forklift skills assessment will be conducted during the client interview process
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklift equipment to transport materials and products throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload goods within the warehouse
  • Ensure accurate handling of materials to prevent damage
  • Utilize RF scanning equipment to manage inventory, track stock, and pick orders for shipment
  • Maintain clear communication with warehouse staff to support efficient operations
  • Perform daily forklift inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to manage inventory and update system records
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, and stock management as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
  • Valid forklift operator certification
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and storage practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
  • Strong attention to detail and physical stamina
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations
