Samaritan Health Services in Oregon has an opportunity for a Hospitalist in Albany, Oregon!

Samaritan Health Services a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full time Hospitalist to join our team in Albany, OR. Samaritan Albany General Hospital is a 79-bed acute care facility located in historic downtown Albany, Oregon.  Rich in history, the current hospital is built in the same location as first Albany hospital and is a level IV trauma center providing medical services to the greater Albany, Oregon area.

Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care.

Job Specifics

  • Join a well-established hospitalist group dedicated towards sustainability, excellent patient care, and education
  • Approximately 12 average patients per day
  • 2-3 average night shifts per month
  • 7 on/7 off schedule
  • Approximately 3 admits per day per physician
  • 8 bed ICU- experience in vent management required

Job Requirements

  • ACLS certified
  • Board certified or board eligible in IM or FM
  • Basic IM procedures preferred, but not required
  • Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
