About this Role
As a Branch Manager at First Bank, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a bank branch and its employees. Your key responsibilities include operating as a business owner, fostering a team environment, instilling a client-centric and risk-aware culture, and helping clients achieve their financial goals. You will ensure operational excellence and cohesive effectiveness within the branch to successfully put our clients first.
In this Role You Will
  • Drive Profitability: Lead, plan, and execute a branded sales process to achieve sales targets and client loyalty. Grow branch revenue through the acquisition and share-of-wallet growth of consumer and business households. Maintain a foundational understanding of balance sheet and income statement.
  • Networking: Effectively lead internal and external partnerships to drive business banking results through business development and community involvement activities.
  • Client Interactions: Ensure the delivery of a differentiated client experience. Coach the team to engage confidently with clients in technology-enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultations that improve client financial well-being.Lead effective problem resolution, making banking easy for clients. Connect all of First Bank's solutions to deliver a seamless client experience in a multi-channel environment.
  • Coaching/Managing: Acquire and retain talent through effective onboarding, coaching, and development. Coach consultative selling to drive results and enable client financial well-being.
  • Compliance/Risk: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures. Exercise leadership, authority, and sound decision-making to mitigate sales practice risk.

Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.

Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
  • High School diploma or Equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years previous sales/customer service experience and/or training, banking sales/customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years consumer and/or mortgage lending experience
  • Effective selling and referral skills
  • Minimum three years branch operations/risk management experience
  • At least one year previous management/supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services
  • Must be registered under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or become registered upon hire
  • Multi-lingual, a real plus

Compensation Disclosure
The range for this role takes into account many factors that First Bank considers when making hiring decisions, including but not limited to prior experience, skill set, training, and other internal business and organizational factors. First Bank generally does not hire at or near the top of the stated range. The range is driven by the geographic location of the anticipated hiring location; however, the specific range may vary depending on the geographic location for remote positions. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each hiring instance.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $80,000 - $100,000, annually.
